ANIMALS IN WINTER

Today we read a story about how animals survive in the Winter.  The book explained we read explained 4 different ways animals cope with the cold Winter weather.  Some animals migrate; some hibernate; some hide; and some change colors.  Following the story, we made birdfeeders using bagels, lard, and bird seed.  When our birdfeeders were finished, we headed outside to hang them for the birds to enjoy.
