Our Discovery lesson this week involved WATER!! First, we brainstormed the places we find water and ways we use water. Then, we put some celery in water and added food coloring to the water. We will watch the celery closely and carefully over the new few days to see what happens. If the celery turns colors, we know the water has traveled through the celery. Stay tuned!
In the photo below, you can see we split the stalk of celery, putting one part in the blue water and one part in the red water. We can't wait to see what color the top part/leaves of the celery will be once the water travels through the celery. Will it be red? blue? another color?
